Big Bang Part Due

So yesterday I was discussing the particle accelerator thing in Switzerland and how there is supposedly a couple of crackpot theories about how doing this could be the end of the world as we know it (fade in that REM song). One possibility is that when the particles collide they actually create a black hole that will suck about half of the earth in on itself. The way that I see it... with Switzerland being nearly halfway across the globe from me, I'm probably ok. I mean, maybe I'll lose a toe, or get my leg stuck in it, but I think a black hole has nothing on me. Option B is that it somehow converts normal matter into some sort of anti-matter because the quarks are flipped around somehow. Apparently this type of matter has the amazing christian ability to convert other molecules into this altered form of matter when they come in contact, and then pretty soon the whole world becomes.... something else. I could imagine worse things happening... like accidentally drinking rancid milk. So when it really comes down to it, either it happens or it doesn't... it's a 50/50 chance that the world survives this experiment. I'm a gambling man, I say we go for it.
